Digital Proof Tokens are registered on the GoChain public blockchain as an ERC-721 compliant Non-Fungible Token (NFT).
Details of the Digital Proof Token can be verified on the blockchain at any time by the public, globally and without the involvement of Web Commodore.
Details registered on the blockchain
The details registered on the blockchain are indestructable and accessible by the public. They include the unique fingerprint (sha256) of the underlying digital asset file and a fingerprint (sha256) matching the ownership legal entity.
Anonymity
No identifying information is stored on the blockchain. Looking up a blockchain registration using Web Commodore (this page) will reveal the ownership legal entity if the account holder has chosen it to be visible, or withheld in case the account is anonymous. In either case the sha256 hash of the ownership legal entity will match the hash stored on the blockchain - providing a way to verify proof of ownership without public disclosure.
Immutability
Digital Proof Token details registered on the blockchain cannot be removed or altered.
